- Check that your weight is evenly distributed over both feet and through the base of the big toe, the little toe and the heel of each foot. The key to this posture is to stand with balanced and secure feet – this will help address the poor alignment and muscle imbalances that can cause back pain. Ensure that your knees are not locked and that all joints are soft.
